
Mumbai orphanage receives aid

The HAPC Mumbai team, led by Bishop Agnelo and Theresa Carassco, planned a aid programme in one of the mission areas, Mahad (a place near Ratnagiri), on November 12, 2006. Arrangements were made with a local Priest to take the team there.

They were hoping to meet and the poor children (about 130 in number) with some material needs.
The HAPC team took towels for each one of them. As all the children live together in the orphanage, they were also presented with basket ball sets, carrom board, badminton rackets and extra shuttle cocks, cricket bats and extra balls, snakes and ladders, drafts etc. etc.

Many games were played and prizes (sponsored by Fr. Anthony) given. The team also taught them songs and they were overjoyed.
